Are you in need of a Digital Cinema Package (DCP) for your short film or feature?
Closed captioning has become ubiquitous in the video industry. It’s required on all videos for broadcast and streaming services. But what’s this Audio Description stuff that you occasionally get requests for?
What’s black and white and red all over? Yeah, that’s an old American joke, but there’s more than one answer now. The newspaper and closed captions.
As streaming video has become the new standard for video distribution, we’ve been hearing a lot of complaints about interlacing from our clients.
It’s like the rich uncle you are buddying up to while waiting for the inevitable (and the inheritance that will follow). The authoring software is dead. The quality is bad. The subtitles look reeeeally bad!
Yes, those rings on a nice coffee table can be annoying, but if you’ve been using your Blu-ray Discs for coasters then we at DKP suggest that you find a great new use for them… putting your product on them!
Thanks to our voice-over talent, David Medrano, we recently put the finishing touches on the Spanish and English DVD versions of The Alpha Course for our clients Alpha USA.
But now DKP is able to do the finest encoding on the planet! Cinema Craft is the finest encoder on the market and is used for over 90% Hollywood feature film releases on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
Although there’s still nobody at DKP who can break 100, we’ve been working non-stop on a multi-language golf project for Butch Harmon: the biggest golf instructor in the world! “Butch Harmon about Golf” is being sold internationally dubbed from English to Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish. DKP produced the foreign language audio tracks with help from LRS Recording and also handled the translation.
Yeah, we used to charge a bundle for Blu-ray authoring like everybody else. And like everything else, the price has come down as Blu-ray authoring has become commonplace.
